About us

Tamla by Sputnes is a family business founded by me Sara Sputnes. Those who stand by my side are my mother Yvonne who sews a lot of the products and my partner Magnus who works with communication and media.

Our children Stax and Tamla stand for inspiration.

For as long as I can remember, clothes have always been one of my biggest interests. From the time I as a four-year-old was very determined in my choice of wardrobe, - through the middle school where I started sewing clothes to avoid wearing the same clothes as my peers - to today have the privilege of working with what I love.

When I was 23 years old, I attended a university preparatory textile education at Värnamo Folk High School, and after that I studied a bachelor's program in fashion design at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Barcelona.

In the autumn of 2019, I took my partner, two children and two dogs with me back to Barcelona. Then to study the master's program "Fashion and design industry management" at Escola Superior de Disseny.

A year later we are now back in Sweden, but instead of returning to Stockholm, we decided to base the family business in Dalarna where I have my family.
